EDC on track with last year's progress

Mid-year statistics released by the Sault Ste. Marie Economic Development Corp suggest more young people are considering starting their own business.
The statistics show that staff from the Millworks Centre for Entrepreneurship processed 804 inquiries from entrepreneurs and conducted 242 formal client consultations since the beginning of the year.
To date, 105 small business start-ups, creating 125 jobs, are expected to be launched, the report states.
