Driver hits moose on Municipal Road 35 near Azilda

A driver suffered minor injuries after a vehicle struck a moose on Municipal Road 35 on Sunday night.
In a tweet posted to its Twitter account about 10:30 p.m., Greater Sudbury Police said the collision occurred between Day Construction and Azilda.
“Please slow down and drive with caution as the area is not well lit,” police also advised.
The accident scene was quickly cleared and the vehicle towed from the site.
