Driver charged, vehicle impounded

A man faces several charges after he allegedly drove at a high rate of speed on Causley Street in Blind River on Thursday.His vehicle was impounded for 45 days.Daniel Cavaliere, 38, of Kitchener, Ont., was charged with speeding, fail to comply with recognizance and two counts driving while under suspension.
His court date is March 7 in Blind River.
