Downtown Sault intersection closes to traffic Monday

The intersection at Queen and East streets closes to traffic for about eight weeks on Monday. The closure is prompted by the reconstruction of East Street, a release says.Queen Street East, between Pilgrim and East streets, will temporarily operate as a two-way roadway. Traffic barrels will create a turnaound area near East Street for small vehicles. Queen Street East will also temporarily operate as a two-way street between Brock and East streets.
