An Elliot Lake man was sentenced to jail for not stopping for a conservation officer during a snowmobile patrol.
Desi Newton pleaded guilty and was sentenced to four days in jail.
Court heard that on Feb. 4, a conservation officer and OPP officer were conducting a joint snowmobile patrol on Esten Lake in the Elliot Lake area.
