Cruiser nearly struck

A small SUV was found parked in the middle of Ontario Avenue in Elliot Lake.An Ontario Provincial Police officer stopped in front of the vehicle and activated the cruiser’s emergency lights. The small SUV then started to drive towards the police car. The officer had to steer his vehicle away from the oncoming SUV to avoid a collision, said Const.
