Council's thoughts on retail cannabis stores would have been welcomed

It took less time for city council to stamp approval on a staff recommendation than it would have for them to smoke a joint and ponder the issue.
While I expected the end result to be the same – that the city would not opt out of hosting a provincially licensed cannabis retail store – I did expect council to ask a few questions and make a few comments to justify their decision at last Monday’s council meeting.
