Council unanimously approves Smart Grid

Council unanimously approved first-ever, city-wide implementation of Smart Grid technology Monday evening. Previously, the project had only been attempted in small sections of cities, but, in early 2020, Sault Ste. Marie will become the first to have it functioning throughout the entire community at once.
