Council to examine future funding for PWT fleet replacement

City council is directing the city’s finance department to start tucking some money away for Public Works and Transportation in order to replace its aging fleet.A resolution is expected to be discussed at the next council meeting that if passed, will direct city staff to include a $250,000 increase to the public works vehicle reserve in the 2020 preliminary budget and the same amount in both the 2021 and 2022 budgets pending a Fleet Services Program Review.
