Council dedicates $500,000 to growth projects

City council has earmarked $500,000 towards specific growth fund projects.
It’s the first time city council has ever provided direct funding towards specific projects targeted as a result of its FutureSSM efforts.
Slightly more than half of the money ($264,866) will be used for the implementation of recommendations on the Downtown Action Plan.
