Conservancy celebrates new nest

DESBARATS — Kensington Conservancy celebrated its first anniversary in its new building with an open-house gathering.
The organization received its not-for-profit status in 2001 and charitable status in 2006, and its office was completed in December 2017.
“The new office has made us a lot more accessible. We’ve got new trails and plan to double them again this year,” said Tanna Elliott, executive director.
