Clinic nearly hits donor target

A former employee of Michael Moore Construction would be “very proud” of results from a recent blood donor clinic held in his name.The first annual Dwayne Phillips Memorial Blood Donor Clinic drew 306 donations at Grand Gardens, Verdi Ballroom in late January. The goal was 307.Phillips was the first employee Moore hired. He was senior superintendent when he died last November. The father of two donated blood regularly, contributing 50 units.
