Marie’s top cop is reviewing planned changes by the Progressive Conservative government to police oversight.Comprehensive Ontario Police Services Act would create Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019 and Special Investigations Unit, 2019 to repeal and replace the Police Services Act, 2018, Ontario Special Investigations Unit Act, 2018, Policing Oversight Act, 2018 and Ontario Policing Discipline Tribunal Act, 2018.Chief Hugh Stevenson, of Sault Ste.
