Chamber of Commerce lobbies for shortline rail

The Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce has jumped on the band wagon asking the federal government to do more to support Canada’s short line rail system.
The chamber, along with its counterpart in Sudbury, the Ontario Chamber of Commerce and the Railway Association of Canada has penned a joint letter to Transport Minister Marc Garneau reiterating the importance of short line rail to Northern industries.
