An about-face by Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board trustees to ditch secret ballots is being called “a small victory” by a former trustee who tried to end secret votes earlier this year and failed.In a motion he introduced in March, Bill Murphy called for secret ballots only to be used when the board’s chair and vice-chair were elected.His motion was defeated a month later with several trustees who continue to serve with the board – John Caputo, Leslie Cassidy
