Canada post labour dispute could play havoc on elections
A pending Canada Post employee labour dispute may play havoc with some municipal election plans in rural communities – including those communities North and East of Sault Ste. Marie.
The City of Sault Ste. Marie has entered into an agreement with the regional school boards to run the school board election process.
That includes areas in the Sault North area, Wawa, Chapleau and east of the city to Huron Shores.
The move includes sending out between 4,000 and 5,000 ballots to eligible voters
