Camp burns near Harmony Beach

No one was in a seasonal residence that caught fire on Highway 17 two kilometres south of Harmony Beach, last Friday evening. Goulais Fire and Rescue went to the property in Havilland Township. Ontario Provincial Police went to help at about 10:40 p.m., said Const. Ashley Nickle in an email to The Sault Star. Ontario Fire Marshal was contacted. The fire is considered non-suspicious. A damage estimate and fire cause were not available, said Nickle.
