Building permits down slightly

Sault Ste. Marie’s construction industry is a showing slightly lower trends in 2018 than the previous year.
City building permit statistics show that 1,510 permits have been issued between January and November of this year valuing just more than $92.15 million.
In 2017, the same time period saw 1,812 permits issued valuing more than $97.27 million of construction.
