Blood clinics end in Sault Ste. Marie

The Algoma Steel ironworker rigger’s last donation was Tuesday.
Canadian Blood Services is ending its blood donor clinics in Sault Ste. Marie and about a dozen other Northeastern Ontario communities.
Gaccione started helping at a clinic held at the steel plant in 1987. He stepped up when he learned a co-worker was donating blood to help a family member.
