Beware bacteria at two beaches: APH

High levels of bacteria were found in the water at two area beaches.The elevated amounts of bacteria at Lakeside Park, in Thessalon, and Basswood Lake Beach, in Huron Shores, were found in samples taken on Tuesday, Algoma Public Health says.Swimming in water with high levels of bacteria can cause skin, eye, nose and throat infections and stomach illness if water is swallowed.
