Better marketing of event centre needed, council concludes

City council may not be interested in turning over the keys of its premier entertainment facility to a private management company, but they’re not ruling out the option of getting some professional marketing help.
The newly named GFL Memorial Gardens is budgeted annually to lose money, in most cases at least $500,000. Some years the losses have been greater, and others a little less.
