Bacteria found at Pointe des Chenes

High levels of bacteria are present at Pointe des Chenes.Conditions are not safe for swimming, Algoma Public Health warns.Swimming in the water could result in skin, eye, nose and throat infections and stomach illness if water is swallowed.Risk can be reduced by showering at home, toweling off after a swim and not swallowing beach water.
