Backcountry camping opened at Ontario parks and Crown lands

Crown land camping and campgrounds in provincial parks opened as of Monday this week.
The opening includes access points, paddle and portage routes and hiking trails at the parks. Ontario Parks also expanded day-use activities to include picnicking and off-leash pet areas, says a media release from the provincial government.
No more than five people will be allowed to occupy a backcountry campsite unless they live in the same household.
