Dental health educator Kim Payeur participates in Algoma Public Health’s 50th anniversary open house on Wednesday. Payeur has worked at APH since 1992. The health unit started offering dental programs in 1970. A registered dental hygienist was hired in 1972. Parents are encouraged to bring their children to APH by their first birthday to learn about nutrition and good eating habits. There’s no cost.
