Algoma University's surplus dips

Algoma University posted a $500,000 surplus for 2017-2018.A draft financial statement, for the financial year ending April 30, was shared with the post-secondary institution’s board of governors at a meeting last Thursday.The surplus of $508,945 is down from a $920,648 surplus recorded in 2016-2017, vice-president of finance and operations Robert Battisti told the board.Total revenue stood at $31,810,328 million, slightly less than $32,170,766 million from 2016-2017.The drop in cash receiv
