Algoma U still crunches numbers

Algoma University doesn’t know yet if a solid projected enrolment boost this fall will help cover a reduction in tuition revenue.
The Ontario government announced a 10 per cent cut in tuition for domestic students in late January. Algoma anticipates a shortfall of $800,000 in revenue.The post-secondary institution estimates a 20 per cent increase in student numbers in September.“Although the anticipated 20 per cent increase in enrolment will offset some of the decrease in tuitio
