Advance poll draws 800-plus

A second advance poll for the municipal election drew nearly 900 voters.Civic Centre hosted the poll on Wednesday, with 897 votes cast.Ward 1 turnout was the strongest, with 257 voters appearing, a release says.A final advance poll will be held at city hall on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.The municipal election is Oct. 22. Polls are open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
