A royal glimpse at past

For a burial, it was a jovial affair.
But again, it wasn’t the usual sort of burial.
In a recent ceremony, Prince Township Mayor Ken Lamming and staff joined Joanie McGuffin and Peter Greve, of the Lake Superior Watershed Conservancy, in lowering a Heritage 150 time capsule into the ground in Gros Cap Marina Park.
The waterproof stainless-steel box, donated by the Trans Canada Trail, will remain undisturbed until 2042.
