Work on U of S rink will close Preston for two weeks

A new University of Saskatchewan rink facility is intended to reduce the long-term crush for ice time in Saskatoon.
In the short term, however, its construction will create some traffic headaches.
Starting Monday, a key stretch of Preston Avenue is scheduled to be closed for two weeks so crews can excavate a section of the road to connect the rink to the sewer system.
Preston is expected to be closed between 14th Street and College Drive for 15 days to allow the work to happen.
