Winter weather arrives in Saskatoon, police kept busy by collisions

Motorists in Saskatoon kept city police busy following the first snowfall of the season.
Starting Monday around 6 a.m. and through early-afternoon, officers responded to 15 minor collisions, Saskatoon police said in a news release. In one incident, a 12-year-old girl was injured after being struck while in a crosswalk. The driver was issued a ticket for failing to yield.
