Why Day of the Dead is not 'Mexican Halloween'

Celebrations of El Dia de los Muertos -- or Day of the Dead -- stretch from around Oct. 31 to Nov. 2 in Mexico, with observers setting up altars as a way to honour loved ones and call them back to the land of the living.
