'What's the rush?' about Saskatoon waste utility fees, tax critic asks
The prairie director of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation wonders whether Saskatoon is trying to do too much with its changes to waste management.
City council is expected to vote Monday on several proposals from the city administration to change the way residents pay for trash collection and to introduce a mandatory city-wide collection program for food and yard waste.
“You can’t do everything at once,” Todd MacKay said of the proposed changes, which could be approved Monday.
