WestJet flights delayed due to IT system outage

WestJet is warning passengers to check their flight status before they leave for the airport on Saturday, as an IT system outage is causing dozens of flights to be delayed.
The outage “is affecting numerous systems including reservations and phone lines,” WestJet said on Twitter.
Between 50 and 60 flights have been delayed anywhere between 15 minutes to an hour, as of 1:30 p.m.
