'We need better for our university': Controversy over Devine appointment to U of S board continues

A newly-elected university senator blasted the provincial government in a recent Facebook post for appointing former premier Grant Devine to the University of Saskatchewan’s board of governors.
Dan Danielson said in the post that he is concerned about the decision because the former Progressive Conservative premier’s “public governance performance record has not been of high enough quality to endorse his appointment beyond partisan politics.”
“We need better for our
