Waterhen Lake First Nation wildfire evacuees headed home

Cool, rainy conditions have helped stop the spread of two uncontained wildfires in northern Saskatchewan.
Steve Roberts, executive director of Saskatchewan’s wildfire management branch, said only two of the six active fires in the province — the Rally fire west of Prince Albert and the Tuff fire near Meadow Lake — remained uncontained on Friday, although they had not breached their boundaries in the previous 24 hours, thanks to the cool, humid conditions.
