Watch: The Pysanka, or Ukrainian Easter egg, is steeped in history and symbolism

The Ukrainian Easter egg, or Pysanka, has a long tradition and meaningful symbolism for the people of Ukraine.
That tradition was carried on by the immigrants who came to Canada and passed the knowledge on to future generations.
Khrystyna Hudyma from the Ukrainian Museum of Canada in Saskatoon gives us a demonstration on how to decorate the egg and tells us some of the history and the meaning of the symbols.
