Watch: Saskatoon police cracking down on distracted drivers

The Saskatoon Police Service and SGI are sending a strong message to the city’s drivers: put down your cell phones.
The SPS were on Idylwyld Drive on Wednesday, holding a distracted driving enforcement event in conjunction with SGI.
Police were looking for drivers holding, using, manipulating or viewing handheld cell phones or otherwise driving without due care and attention.
Drivers caught in the act were handed a $280 ticket and will lose four points on their Safe Driver Recognition prog
