Wadena RCMP investigate attempted child luring incident

RCMP are investigating after a man attempted to lure a seven-year-old girl into a van on Main Street in Wadena on Monday evening.
The girl was approached by the man and told to “get in the vehicle” after she exited a building on the street’s 200 block between 6:30 p.m. and 6:45 p.m., according to an RCMP news release.
The girl is said to have turned and ran back into the building. Police say the incident was reported the following morning.
