Vince Young waived by Roughriders

That’s the word from his agent, Leigh Steinberg, who tweeted Saturday that Young “suffered a torn hamstring in training camp which will take time to heal and he has been waived” by the Roughriders.
Young, 34, was attempting a comeback after being out of football since 2014. He is a former star with the University of Texas Longhorns and the NFL’s Tennessee Titans.
Kevin Glenn is to start at quarterback for Saskatchewan in Thursday’s regular-season opener against the
