U.S. officials say Iranian missile brought down Ukrainian airliner — most likely accidentally

U.S. officials have shared intelligence with Canada that the Ukrainian airliner that crashed in Iran on Wednesday, killing all 176 aboard including 63 Canadians, was shot down by an Iranian missile, sources tell CBC News. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is set to provide an update on the crash at 2 p.m. ET, and CBC is carrying it live.
