UPDATE: Collision / Traffic Restrictions - 2nd Avenue North and Queen Street

The Collision Analyst Unit is continuing to investigate a serious collision that occurred yesterday afternoon.At approximately 2:45 p.m. on August 31, 2023, police responded to the intersection of 2nd Avenue North and Queen Street for a report of a serious collision involving three vehicles. An 89-year-old male passenger in one of the involved vehicles had sustained life-threatening injuries. He was transported to hospital by paramedics and later pronounced deceased.
