Union fires back after care home operator deems job action 'illegal'

One of Saskatchewan’s largest labour unions is firing back after a Saskatoon group home operator blasted some of its employees for undertaking an “illegal” job action.”
Service Employees International Union (SEIU-West) vice president Neil Colmin said Elmwood Residences Inc.’s claim that the strike notice violates the province’s essential services legislation is groundless.
“We have done everything accordingly. Now it appears that they are trying to use t
