Two Saskatoon murder cases committed to trial
A man charged with Saskatoon’s last homicide of 2017 and a woman charged with the city’s third homicide of 2018 have been committed to stand trial.
Alistair Duncan Stewart’s preliminary hearing wrapped up at the end of October, while Sheritta Kahpeaysewat’s ended last Thursday. Both were held in Saskatoon provincial court to determine if the cases had sufficient evidence to proceed to trial.
