Two men dead in La Loche, presumed drowned while boating

RCMP believe two people found dead in northern Saskatchewan drowned while boating.
La Loche RCMP responded Wednesday around 3 p.m. to a report of two overdue boaters on Lac La Loche. “Conditions on the lake were extremely windy with high waves at the time,” RCMP said in a news release.
Around 4 p.m., civilians found a man dead in the water near Black Point. RCMP and civilian search teams found the body of the second man Thursday around 7:45 a.m.
