Trans Canada traffic affected by fire near Moosomin

Traffic on the Trans Canada Highway is restricted from the Manitoba border to the Moosomin as crews battle a fire near the road.
Smoke in the area forced the closure of the highway Wednesday afternoon, although RCMP said in an update issued at 6 p.m. that one lane of traffic is open, eastbound from Moosomin.
Some structures have been lost in the area and the Moosomin fire department is working to get the fire under control, according to an RCMP news release.
“Motorists are asked to proceed
