Throwback Thursday: Traffic Bridge raising

Every Thursday, we feature an image from the StarPhoenix archives.
Today, we see an image of the raising of the south end of the Traffic Bridge, from March 28, 1961. The bridge was lifted 12 feet to cut the slope leading up to the top of Victoria Avenue. (City of Saskatoon Archives StarPhoenix Collection S-SP-B5232-3)
