Thigpen runs wild as Riders down Redblacks

OTTAWA — Marcus Thigpen was dressed for success on Sunday.
The Saskatchewan Roughriders’ tailback decided to wear a Superman T-shirt under his uniform for Sunday’s CFL East Division semi-final against the Ottawa Redblacks.
Then he went out and played the role, rushing 15 times for 169 yards — including a 75-yard touchdown romp — as Saskatchewan won 31-20 at TD Place.
