"The Sikh values are the Canadian values": Sikh Day Parade set for Saskatoon celebration

The growing Sikh community in Saskatoon is hoping to share a special celebration of Sikh culture with the rest of the city.
Saskatoon is set to play host to the now annual Sikh Day Parade on Saturday, being held as part of the Vaisakhi religious celebration. The parade is also known as Nagar Kirtan, with Nagar meaning “town” and Kirtan referring to the singing of religious hymns.
