Terry McBride: Not all RRSP excuses have merit

You say you cannot make your RRSP contribution for 2017? You are not alone. A recent H&R Block survey finds that only 33 per cent of Canadians plan to contribute to an RRSP before the March 1 deadline.
I can imagine some of the excuses used by the two-thirds of Canadians who do not plan to make RRSP contributions. Some of the following excuses are valid. Some are not.
