Tensions run high at the provincial high school track and field championship

It took Bishop Mahoney’s Holly Murray two times of running and winning the 80 meter senior girls final, before she was finally awarded the gold medal at the high school track and field provincial championships on the weekend.
The first time the senior girls’ race was run, Murray hung on for a win despite hitting the final hurdle and stumbling near the finish line. However the win was not captured by the official photo finisher equipment, so the race had to be run again.
